Well, I'm up to chapter 4 right now and I've decided to actually try to use a few of the items I never used during my play throughs. One of them was the power wrist. First of all, Power Wrist gives +30 STR to the user at the cost of around 20 WT. 30 STR might not sound much, but infact, it's actually the opposite.
The following contains spoilers about the Accursed but pretty much everyone here finished the game, but I'll put in spoiler tags anyway.

When I had used power wrist with Ein during the battle with Isher. Depending on how much STR boosts you obtained from overskills learnt, Disaresta would usually do 60-80 per hit and the final blow would be around 140-150. Using the power wrist however, the damage soars up to around 120-135 per hit. I don't know how much the final blow would do seeing as how Isher blocked it when I was battling him. Now, you might wonder, "why the bloody hell is he raving on about this?" Look at it this way: Isher blocks ALOT. By having Ein's damage per hit raised, you have a higher chance to take him out even if he does manage to block a few hits. This is especially useful not only for attaining the S-Rank, but also increasing score by taking less counts. I don't remember how many counts it took me to take down Isher, but I could've easily taken him out even faster if I had known Disaresta would do so much damage.
Against Lindwurm, it was pretty much the same story. Except, I had Lina and Serene use the power wrist. Serene used Bat Jr (The one obtained from the Crystal Caverns after chapter 2) and hit roughly 140-150 per hit. That's 600 of Lindwurm's HP gone. Without the power wrist, you'd be look at just shy of 400 damage depending on your stats. Lina's Overskill with the Lightning Bow did around 1100 nabbing me the S-Rank at 60 counts. Without the power wrist, you'd be doing around 750-800 depending on your stats. If I remember correctly, I never destroyed Lindwurm in 60 counts.
We all know how fast Arch Angel falls against Lina's Barrage overskill. Imagine how much faster it would fall when Lina uses a Power Wrist. I hope to plan to do it sometime tommorow and see for myself.
Now, if this much damage was obtained with using a power wrist, I wondered how much damage Cierra would do using Black Earrings. I threw them away this play through and now I'm tempted to start again just to test it out. Not only Black Earrings give a magic boost, but also gives 100% accuracy on all her attacks. I don't know about you, but with my experience with Cierra, usually 1 or 2 hits miss when I use her level 3 over skills. With her magic already ridiculously high, the magic boost would just plain obliterate everything. The only problem is that she's so slow.
I have yet to use some of the other support items, but Power Wrist and Black Earrings are probably the best support items aside from Flag and Cheer Bell. None of you probably care about this but I've played through Riviera so many times that I'm trying to find new ways to keep myself occupied with the game. One of them being to get the highest score possible. By finding the new use of these two support items, I think that I could significantly improve my scores. Sometimes I wonder if I'm just thinking
way too much about this. I posted this because I was solely relying on attack items and I figured many others here did too (if they still played Riviera that is). Potions are useless in this game, I know that much, but now stat upping items have shined up to me as an item I'll keep in my inventory from now on.
